Aegon Scottish Equitable

Prudential

Established in 1848, today Prudential plc is an international financial services company with a product range which extends from personal banking, insurance, pensions and retail investments, to institutional fund management and property investments.

In the UK Prudential is a leading life and pensions provider with around seven million customers.

M&G was acquired by Prudential in 1999 and is the Group's UK and European fund manager, responsible for managing over £164 billion (as at 31 December 2006).

In Asia, Prudential is the leading European life insurer with life and fund management operations in 12 countries serving some seven million customers.

In the US, Prudential owns Jackson National Life, a leading life insurance company, and has more than three million policies and contracts in force.

Scottish Provident

Scottish Provident is the brand name for Scottish Mutual Assurance Limited's protection and healthcare products. Scottish Provident Limited and Scottish Mutual Assurance Limited are owned by Resolutions plc.

Resolution plc was formed in September 2005 from the merger of Resolution Life Group Limited and Britannic Group plc.

Resolution plc is the largest specialist manager of in-force UK life funds with an estimated 7 million customers and combined life company invested assets of over £61 billion. Some of the principal life companies owned by Resolution plc include:
